A Christmas Monster - The Ghost of Christmas Present

Ghost Of Christmas Present - Spirit Of Law
The Ghost of Christmas Present was the second of the three spirits that belong to a class of spirits that are nether angel, undead, or fairy. This spirit appears as "a jolly giant" with dark brown curls. He wears a fur-lined green robe and on his head a holly wreath set with shining icicles. He carries a large torch, made to resemble a cornucopia, and appears accompanied by a great feast.
He lives for one full year until the stroke of midnight when is replaced by another of his brothers or sisters until the full cycle of the Christmas season. In this way he hearkens back to elder gods of old who themselves grew old & passed on only to rise as a phoenix each year
He carries a large torch, made to resemble a cornucopia, and appears accompanied by a great feast. He states that he has had "more than eighteen hundred" brothers (in fact eighteen hundred and forty two) and later reveals the ability to change his size to fit into any space. He also bares a scabbard with no sword in it, a representation of peace on Earth and good will toward men.The spirit transports  his charges around the plane prime , showing him scenes of festivity and also deprivation that are happening as they watch, sprinkling a little warmth from his torch as he travels. He may travel anywhere upon the material prime plane from one Christmas dinner, feast, or party to another as a gust of warm air & snow. He often accompanied by the smells of feasts
Anyone foolish enough to attack this spirit will have to deal with his two charges

The spirit finally reveals to his victims  two emaciated children, subhuman in appearance and loathsome to behold, clinging to his robes, and names the boy as Ignorance and the girl as Want. The spirit will warn, "Beware them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written which is Doom, unless the writing be erased.",
The girl Ignorance's gaze will act as a feeble minded spell unless a save versus is rolled.
The boy Want will cast a Curse of Doom to be writ upon the brow of the victim. Unless a save vs death is made a curse shall follow the victim until some unfortunate event will unfold to kill the poor fool in an ironic way
Those who partake of this spirit's feast will heal 1d4 points of damage & be of good cheer.
The spirit can be summoned by a cleric of law 3 days before Christmas but is not subject to any control by the summoner. The ritual for summoning must involve the sacrifice of a Christmas gift of no less then 100 gold pieces to charity & the planting of a holly bush. The cleric must mediate for 1d4 hours on the meaning of Christmas before attempting a summons & better have good reason for the interruption of this spirit's duties.
The spirit has a jovial attitude & is generally jolly but carries with him a stern undercurrent towards the plight of others. He gets along generally with most gods, spirits, & others. But will look on those who dismiss Christmas with a critical eye.
